Impermanence is a spiritual discoveries in a natural setting. Impermanence is a spiritual chants and ceremonial horns.
The mule train reaches the gusty mountain pass. Along the way bells and voices are heard and an occasional distant chanting comes ever nearer : drums, cymbals, ecc.

Passing through holy ceremonies, such as that of the Kalachakra (ceremony of Tantric initiation), or through Sherpa dances, in their villages, to manage to listen to one's own breath and body, following the Koan “Gutei's finger”, to discover that the “form” of a person talks of his personality, perhaps through the walk of a young monk, and then making the offer (tamuke) in a Zen Garden and discovering that in our journey on this earth, as the Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso says, “Our happiness is linked to that of others. Thus inner piece comes from the inner strength that in turn comes from the heart and compassion”.The wheel of life continues to turn... amidst monks, pilgrims and nomadic shepherds, manmade and natural monasteries, often in precarious conditions on the Himalayan Plateau, and takes us back as we listen to this new work by Maestro Scala Stefano, once more onto the path that leads to Kailash, to understand the beginning of Impermanence. As the director of “Impermanence”.Scala is Composer, Musical Researcher and Musical therapist, with close links to the entourage of Franco Battiato, has always dedicated himself to ethno-musicological research and ethnic music. After having played in Symphony and folk orchestras he started to search for the roots of music and sound and became increasingly interested in the writing of ambient music, of clear spiritual and ritual inspiration, using acoustic sounds, sometimes combined with electronic music, to create sound pictures which lead the listener on an inner journey through sound : this is Impermanence.
